My ex-brother in law left cases of ammo at my sister's house I need to sell it, It's mostly 9mm and soft point 38s.
Is there a way to legally sell it or am I stuck with it?

I have bought it off of graigs list but you need to be crafty they will pull it if it is ammo list it as ammo it will last about a day list it as brass and ask callers if they are interested in loaded ammo.

Doc,
Presuming you are still in NJ, I am guessing NJ state law would be the one to go by, since it is almost certainly more restrictive then Federal law. My suggestion is to put up a for sale flyer at your local range, given the current ammo shortage I am sure it will go quick. As an FYI, factory 9mm FMJ is running between $15-$20 per 50 round box depending on manufacturer and factory 38 Special about the same or a bit more.

Darn it, wish I were closer. Those are the two calibers I need at the moment.

We bought ammo from Catawba Kate when she was selling stuff of Barrel Heads here on the alley.....just sent her a check and she mailed it to me. We bought 330 rounds of 45-70 ammo....quite a bit really.
