Streamwood Park District Spring 2022 Program Guide Now Available Online

The Streamwood Park District has released its Spring 2022 Program Guide, which is now available online for viewing and downloading.

Customers and community members will be excited to learn about exciting new programs and special events taking place in March, April and May. The Park District’s 12th Annual Park Pride Day is looking to make history once again with even greater attendance in 2022 than in 2021.

Some all-new Easter holiday events are planned for early to mid-April, with alternatives to the traditional Easter egg hunt the district has held for years.

There are also adult-oriented events, such as “Paint ‘N’ Sip” and a “Parent Night Out” event, where parents bring their children to Park Place so parents can enjoy a night out. Children can have fun in the gym where they will participate in games, enjoy crafts and be served dinner.

All the happy artists in the family can take painting lessons, cooking lessons or improve their voice and/or piano skills with music lessons.

Recreation Manager for Special Events, Michelle Wolverton, said: “We look forward to our upcoming spring events. In what feels like a long winter, we are excited to start our outdoor season. With such variety for everyone in the family, spring should be a good time.”

Registration opens on Monday, February 21. Park District customers can register online at or in person at the Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy.

The Streamwood Park District serves over 40,000 Streamwood residents, offering hundreds of seasonal programs. Ranging from fitness, aquatics, youth and adult athletics, the Streamwood Park District continues to strive to accommodate the diverse community of Streamwood daily with a host of programs, events and classes .
