Two wines perfect for barbecues and picnics this summer

With outdoor dining becoming one of the go-to plans, there are wines that are perfect for picnics and barbecues.

Winemakers’ Blend combines the experience of Campo Viejo’s three women winemakers to create a sweet and vibrant red blend, with richness and intensity of red fruits. Campo Viejo’s trio of winemakers – Elena Adell, Elena Suárez and Irene Pérez collaborated to launch Winemakers’ Blend.

Three varietals are used in Campo Viejo Winemakers’ Blend, including Bobal using some of the oldest vines in Utiel-Requena. The wine pairs well with beef, pasta, chicken, salmon, light fresh cheeses as well as vegetarian options such as shakshuka.

Stoneleigh from Marlborough in New Zealand Classic Sauvignon Blanc is a premium, vegan and sustainable wine.

Stoneleigh is certified 100% sustainable viticulture from New Zealand and vegan is brilliantly intense and can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or as the perfect accompaniment to salads, grilled vegetables and delicate seafood such as mussels, white meat dishes embellished with fresh herbs and lemon, and tangy. cheeses like goat cheese.

Wine is the product of grapes ripened by sun-charged stones. These stones – deposited by the ancient Wairau River, which once ran through the vineyard – capture the heat throughout the day and return it to the vines.

Stoneleigh Vineyard, located in the heart of the north side of the Wairau Valley in New Zealand’s famous Marlborough wine region, prides itself on its sustainability.
