Woodbridge Frames by Robert art store plans to split and rent the other half
A new store could open at a major site in Woodbridge, it has been revealed.
Frames by Robert has been on New Street for 34 years, but the owner now hopes to split the store into two separate premises, half of which will be let as another outlet.
Plans have been filed with East Suffolk Council with proposals showing the conversion of the Grade 2 listed framing shop.
This will provide two entry and exit points to the building, one for the new rental store and the new opening for the framing store to the rear, accessible via St John’s Hill.
There are also plans to provide the apartment above, which also serves as a workshop, with its own entry point.
